What's included

Concrete Driveways: what we handle

  • Boise & Meridian Homes - Urban neighborhoods where long-lasting, low-maintenance driveways are a must—especially with heavy daily traffic and snow in winter.
  • Mountain Cabins in McCall & Cascade - Freeze-thaw cycles and winter snowmelt call for driveways that won't crack or shift. Concrete is a smart, stable option.
  • Custom Builds in Eagle & Star - When the house is custom, the driveway should be too. We offer decorative finishes to match upscale designs.
  • Vacation Homes in Sun Valley & Hailey - Low-maintenance driveways are ideal for second homes—no crumbling asphalt or gravel to worry about when you're gone.
  • Driveway Size & Thickness - Larger driveways or those built to handle RVs, trailers, or multiple vehicles require thicker pours and more materials.
  • Site Conditions & Prep Work - Sloped yards, poor drainage, or existing driveway removal adds labor and material costs to the overall estimate.

What clients say

“This company is the best! When we first bought our house, I was so worried about our backyard. Rick was able to take down our pink patio and designed our patio and fire pit and poured the concrete for our beautiful steps that had speckles of glitter in it pretty much held my hand through the whole way, especially when I was stressed! Everything came out beautiful and we get so many compliments on our back! I have attached photos of our pink patio and then how it turned out along with the empty spot between two trees and then the fire pit that went in !”

Sandee Saurman

“I had a large 15 x 25 ft patio, a walkway and a 15 x 30 ft pad done by Waypoint Concrete, The quality work was done efficiently, with care taken to be as clean and neat as possible. The work turned out exactly as I requested. I know the concrete done at my house will last for many, many years. I highly recommend Waypoint Concrete.”

Marlene Hoffman-Monteleone

“Rick is amazing, he did a huge concrete slab in front of my garage. He went over the top with rebar and reinforced edges. He also made concrete footings for my 6x6 steel posts for driveway gate. I highly recommend him if you need anything concrete.”

FAQ

Concrete Driveways: common questions

How long does a concrete driveway last?

A well-built concrete driveway commonly lasts 25 to 30 years or more. The base preparation, thickness, drainage, climate and how soon cracks are sealed all play a part.

When can I drive on my new driveway?

Walking on it is usually fine after a day or two. Cars should wait about a week, and heavy vehicles such as trucks or RVs longer. Curing slows down in cold weather, so allow extra time.

Concrete or asphalt for a driveway?

Asphalt usually costs less to install but needs sealcoating every few years and wears faster. Concrete costs more up front, lasts longer with less upkeep and takes decorative finishes. In cold climates, de-icing salts are hard on concrete, so sealing it matters more.
