What clients say

“This company is the best! When we first bought our house, I was so worried about our backyard. Rick was able to take down our pink patio and designed our patio and fire pit and poured the concrete for our beautiful steps that had speckles of glitter in it pretty much held my hand through the whole way, especially when I was stressed! Everything came out beautiful and we get so many compliments on our back! I have attached photos of our pink patio and then how it turned out along with the empty spot between two trees and then the fire pit that went in !”

Sandee Saurman

“I had a large 15 x 25 ft patio, a walkway and a 15 x 30 ft pad done by Waypoint Concrete, The quality work was done efficiently, with care taken to be as clean and neat as possible. The work turned out exactly as I requested. I know the concrete done at my house will last for many, many years. I highly recommend Waypoint Concrete.”

Marlene Hoffman-Monteleone

“Rick is amazing, he did a huge concrete slab in front of my garage. He went over the top with rebar and reinforced edges. He also made concrete footings for my 6x6 steel posts for driveway gate. I highly recommend him if you need anything concrete.”

FAQ

Concrete Sidewalks & Walkways: common questions

Who is responsible for the sidewalk in front of my house?

In many cities, the homeowner is responsible for repairing the public sidewalk along their property, and the work has to meet city specifications and may need a permit. The rules differ from city to city, so check with yours before work begins.

Why are my concrete steps flaking?

Surface flaking, called spalling, usually comes from freeze-thaw cycles and de-icing salts, sometimes made worse by a weak top layer left from the original finishing. Light spalling can sometimes be resurfaced; steps that are crumbling or cracked through are usually replaced.

What about the tree roots that lifted my old walkway?

Roots that lifted the old walkway will lift the new one too. Options include rerouting the path, installing a root barrier, or having an arborist advise on cutting roots without harming the tree.
